I totally agree with you. Since this topic is really bothering me, I thought it might be very interesting trying to start a discussion about that on the 7 Seeds Wiki: http://7-seeds.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:2677 Maybe we can discuss this a bit more intense this way.
By the way, thanks for the info about Viz' poll being void now: I already edited that on the wiki.
I also spontaneously created a new page to share recommendations on similar media: http://7-seeds.wikia.com/wiki/Media_Recommendations since I thought it'd be a pity if that's only being discussed within MF. There are so many wonderful media out there which should be shared with everyone!

PS: Well, I probably missed most of those discussions because I started reading 7 Seeds regularly and waiting for updates only somewhere along the end of the Summer Solstice chapter, and didn't watch the forum so much at first.
