Re: Omen, eh?

Lol, it would be interesting to see what Ban looks like under all that hair, but Tamura-sensei isn't the one to have hidden beauties in her series! XDDD Like Tamon wasn't particularly attractive when his face was revealed in Basara. XP I'm sure Fujiko will get over it and her respect for Ban's dedication to medical care will perhaps lead her to attraction. ;)

Well actually, they weren't a mafia-like family, just a very rich, prestigious and important family in Japan (especially politically). The 'Don of the Political World' is just a nickname. xD We all knew she was an 'ojou-sama' going from the beginning how she was trained to be meek and obedient, but intelligent, refined and skilled in various areas of fine arts. And if you recall, Kaname mentioned that her family, the Taiami family was the only other political family (or governmental faction) that was involved in the 7 Seeds Project besides his own family (the Mozunoto family).

Well Kaname's past has been touched upon, it was evidently horrendous seeing he was but a mere child at the time when his parents were brutally killed before his eyes and he was forced to survive in the wilderness for several days if not weeks on his own (he was still only a child when he was looking after Summer A at the beginning after all). As for Takashi, I have no idea about that...but people can become desensitised to the idea of killing (and I suspect with all his martial arts training and survival skills he may have been in the army once upon a time?). Like when you kill people in a war, or a riot, or when scientists did it in the name of science... Perhaps he simply came to terms with the idea that people would have to be sacrificed for the greater good. I mean if you believe that all of humanity will perish in your lifetime anyway, and if you yourself are prepared to die, then maybe the value of human life diminishes...? What's a few hundred people, when billions will die? If you can save a few dozen, maybe that's all that matters? I'm not trying to validate the fact that they DID murder people, but I'd like to think that they didn't do it out of enjoyment or because they were just being careless. Whatever the reason, I don't hate them for their actions, I think they were wrong but I can see where they were coming from, some aspects of it anyway. ^^;;

I highly doubt it was a shelter. I think it was more a research facility if you ask me (a relic of the past), going by the way it looks. Probably wasn't intended for the Seeders at all. That's why it was just a chiller/refrigerator for the mushrooms/seeds, and why there was no backup power supply or why it wasn't sealed up hermetically like the other supplies shelters.

Just so you know, Dragonator hasn't actually read ahead or anything (I don't think so, anyway, unless he's looked at the raws, but I doubt it because he doesn't like spoilers either...). I believe what he said was merely a guess as to what he think will happen. I know what is going to happen but I won't say whether his theory is correct or not. XP In any case, there's always the possibility of spoilers in the comments, hidden or not, so you should always only read things if you're prepared for possible spoilers. Sometimes I slip a spoiler in sneakily too. xDDDD
