Re: Omen, eh?

I'd like to set one thing straight: I hate spoilers with a passion and actively avoid them, both being exposed to and exposing anyone else to them.

That last paragraph was simply an independent extrapolation of the possible outcome of the events depicted in the chapter, while considering real life facts about fungal spores. Fungal spores can be amazingly long lived if stored properly and can explode into full bloom in a matter of, sometimes, minutes, if exposed to the proper conditions, even after decades or centuries of dormancy.

Reintroducing any species to an ecosystem that has evolved independently for long enough to have drifted far enough from its original balance can lead to disastrous consequences. Look at rabbits and foxes in Australia for one such example. Or, in the case of plants, at weeds in any crop.

As for what's going to happen from now on, I have no idea. I'm ashamed to say my study of the Japanese language has stalled recently due to offline issues so "reading ahead" is literally impossible for me, much to my disappointment.

I will not apologize if my predictions turn out to be correct but I am sorry I didn't make the fact that they are just pure conjecture more clear. I will do so in the future.
