And so chapter 121 is finally done! Sorry about the sloooow release, but it has been tough recently with no available cleaners and just a handful of dedicated team members who are all ridiculously busy right now. ^^;; Fortunately there are lovely people in this world and so we finally have new cleaner recruits in-training! It'll be a little while before they're up to speed though, so don't expect speedy releases any time soon. XD Hope you can bear with us... ^^;;

I would also like to note that I'll be starting my Honours year at the end of February, and I'll be super busy then (more so than I ever have been before)! As such I'll probably only have time to keep up with the translating and QCing, and won't have any time to edit like I have been recently. Ah such dire news! On the bright side of things, Tamura-sensei's Shogakugan 90th anniversary Masterpieces manga anthology, Seimei no Netsuryo, was released at the beginning of the month and my copy has finally arrived! It's super high quality and absolutely stunning as a collector's item for any die-hard Tamura Yumi fan. You can check the pictures out over at our Twitter account.

The fire is advancing at a tremendous speed, and Koruri, out on one of her flying excursions, has spotted the impeding doom heading straight for her settlement! With Kurumi 8 months pregnant and almost due, how are they going to escape this hot mess...?!

Finally, finally, finally the latest update!!! This time, it was really hard waiting, but it totally paid off. Whoa, this chapter sure took a quite unexpected turn!

Didn't think that Kaname would suddenly appear out of the blue just like that. My own jaws dropped as well when I saw him treading out of that rock's shade. It's sure a great help that he brought along the backpack carrier for Kurumi, But, jeez, he really is acting totally high-handed - just like Ango towards Team Autumn/Spring in the beginning. What the hell did he have to criticize everyone right off the bat instead of complimenting them for all their achievements?

Nijiko's quite relaxed reaction towards him was downright hilarious... it seems like she's the only one who can stay calm even towards him and think/speak her own mind.

But cheers for Haru - I totally didn't expect him to go slap at Kaname! I was, like, :-O when he stood up for Koruri and the others and told Mozu off. Especially that sentence "I'll protect you all in Hana's place"...
I LOVE YOU, HARUUUU!!!!! But damn, I just finished completing his spoilers page some hours ago - now I'll have to edit it again...

Yay for Dai and Batsu all grown up! They really became completely Haru's dogs now, didn't they?

Oh, and Ryuusei's interaction with Kurumi was just SO sweet... as well as Ban's was. Him all flustered and at the same time giving it his best calming Kurumi down. He's a super doctor alright, to the very core!

I also liked it very much how they compared themselves with the ants, helpless in face of nature's might, and decided to move forward nevertheless. Same for Hana, putting on the shoes and striding forward... I SO hope for all of them that they can settle down peacefully real soon!

But Tsunomata really looks quite shabby now, doesn't he? Did he lose all his shaving stuff or something? Kinda funny how Hibari said she "sensed danger". Well, if I saw fire in front of me, I'd also sense danger even without clairvoyance skills! XD

So Hana's group, Tsunomata and Hibari as well as the Team Summer A/Spring/Autumn are moving towards the coast.

The time to reunite seems surprisingly close now... all that's left is meeting up with Team Summer B/Ango/Ryo as well. Maybe they'll spot the others from the sea and sail towards the coast..? I CAN'T WAIT to learn what happened after Ango's confession to Arashi!!

But at the same time, I somewhat wish that 7 Seeds would never end... it is just such a wonderful story that I'd love it to continue forever! Aaawww...

Either way - I'm so totally grateful to you for all the hard work you put in bringing this chapter to us once more, despite your huge workload at hand, scanlation team!!! Especially thank you for being the backbone of the entire 7 Seeds scanlating project, Panda-chan! (I wish you the best luck for your Honours work too!)

Kaname has always been like that though, when he was with Summer B he would get them working, using the ship properly, cleaning it and looking after it etc. I don't think he was as bad as Ango and Ryo though, after Haru's speech, he sort of backed off and gave in without further arguments (something Ango and Ryo never did with Spring/Autumn/Winter). I think he's just disappointed in general over Summer A, since they're really not living up to his expectations of them. Obviously in part due to his fault, but any person would naturally go for the defence mechanism and lash out rather than admit that they were wrong (even if deep down they know they're wrong - Ango is another prime example of this Freudian concept). Also, the things he mentioned were fair enough (apart from his insistence that Koruri should fly ahead and scout the area), like with Gengoro almost putting his foot into a poisonous anthill and Ban having a breakdown in front of an almost pregnant Kurumi. Though I loved his interaction with Nijiko! XD I think she's always baffled him, and he probably finds her indifference unsettling, despite himself.

Anyway, I think Kaname must've been quite worried about them for him to actually appear like that! All this time he's just been following people and observing them but never actively getting involved (except with his own team). For him to appear before Summer A, must've been because the situation was getting quite dire. :3 I just think Kaname doesn't know how to express his love very well, he's a complicated guy, it's hard being a genius. xD

Thanks, I'll need a lot of luck! I hope we'll be able to keep up the 7 Seeds releases, but who knows. Let's hope the rest of the team are up for it. ^^;;

I haven't commented here in a long time, but I figured it was time again. Thank you for the amazing work you guys do for this series.

I'm happy to go back to Team Summer A/Spring/Autumn. It's been so long since we last saw them.
I cheered when Haru stood up to Mozu! He was really being a jerk. Koruri's and the other's reaction was really sad, but it also means that there it still a lot of character development ahead for them. :D

Though now that they left their original settlement, Aramaki and the others will probably have to search for them all over. I'm curious what the overall direction of this story arc will be.

I also wonder how much longer the series will be. most of the characters have met each other by now, but at the same time, some conflicts still need to be resolved, and the various groups need to find some place where they can settle down for good. Either way, I have the feeling that we already passed the halfway mark.

Yeah! I'm glad we're back to them too, I was missing them a little myself. ^^ I love Haru~ Always have, and it made me love him more when he stood up to Kaname (even though I love him too xD). I found Gengoro's silent but pained reaction after Haru stood up to Kaname really heart-breaking too. :(

Well it looks like everyone is heading north towards the shore, so maybe they'll find them but who knows! If the fire dies down, then they may track back to the settlement only to find it gone. =/

Yeah well in the recent chapters the story arc has changed again and there are some interesting things going on. I'm not sure what's going to happen, but I don't think everyone is going to meet up in the next story arc, not yet anyway. I would say 7 Seeds probably still has another few years to go, probably. But it should be slowly leading up to a climax. I think she wants to focus a bit on developing Kaname's characters first though, and Autumn's since they've been a bit neglected compared to the rest. xD

OMG I didn't expect for kaname to show up like that, he didn't even gave them enough time to go psycho!.
Well, I think things are going to become interesting as everyone is heading towards the same place, though I don't remember where summer B was .

I don't think they were going to go psycho! XD Koruri, Gengoro, Ban and Nijiko are the calmest of the Summer A gang, and most of them have been partially healed by their interactions with Autumn/Spring/Winter. But who knows, maybe prolonged exposure to Kaname might make them snap again. :3

Summer B are off the south-east coast of Japan, I believe, somewhere near the FUJI ship. They're a bit far from where the others are though.

Yeah it's getting exciting anticipating when the characters will meet each other again! Right now we have 4 little groups travelling, how soon will it be until they're all in one place?! X3

Hmm I think maybe 7 Seeds is on its way to the end, but not necessarily within this year. It may be a few years before it ends, but it's definitely getting there. xD

Kaname!! I will never understand this man completely, I don't think. When he starts yelling at everyone from summer A, I kind of want to smack him. And then Haru steps up. I've always been kind of neutral about him, but this chapter really makes me like him a lot :D

And I just have to say that I love how Kaname doesn't know what to say to Nijiko ever. She's such a mystery to him.

Poor Koruri ;__; I think she really highlighted summer A's problems right there: none of them knew they could just refuse an order before.

Haha yeah, when he started yelling I was thinking, "Kaname, what are you doing?! They're only going to get angry at you! :(" Although he's still a mystery to me, I feel as if I understand him more each time he makes a rare appearance. :) I hope that in the next arc his character will get more time to develop. ^^

Nijiko is a mystery! But it looks like she gets more development time in the next arc! I'm looking forward to getting to know her character better, as well as the rest of Team Autumn. ^^

Yeah, hopefully by having Kaname around they'll be able to sort issues out and finally let go off the institute and their past, or embrace at least like Ango and Ryo did. :)

I don't like Kaname. I sort of respect him for his potential, but I've found him mostly unpleasant & focused in a direction that's too objective with little empathy. Koruri & Aramaki's sadness is killing me.

Looking forward to more Tsunomata & team Autumn. It'll be great when Kaname & team summer A grow up. Ready for this fire to be over...

Yeah, Kaname isn't for everyone. xD I'm just rather drawn to misunderstood characters who may be jerkfaces on the outside and maybe a little or a lot in the inside too, but that there's more to them than just what you see most of the time. Characters where you have to peel back the layers to slowly find things that might be unexpected or surprising or really awesome. X3 And being a scientist, the rational and objective side of me nods in approval to Kaname's INTJ personality. XD

Another character like that that I really liked was Takashi, Hana's dad. I thought the way he lived his life to the end was really cool. Unlike characters like Unami who are just full out disgusting jerkfaces through and through (not to mention being a pervert on top of everything). ^^;;

The fire thing won't last too long, I think it's already served it's purpose, mostly. xD But yes, yay for more Team Autumn, the rest of team Spring, Kaname and Summer A! The one team I'm not ready to go back to yet is Summer B. xD

That is a good point; just 'cause I get bad vibes from him doesn't mean it's right to not accept him... even if I don't like him.

I'm ENFJ. how did you know Kaname's personality lol, that's impressive. I get bad vibes from him because I can't connect to him & I don't trust him. His arrow is pointed in a different direction than mine & I find him dangerous. Really glad Haru stood up to him for everyone.

Unami would have ruined everything. I bet Kaname let him through too.

Ah, well I don't for sure but I personally know a few INTJ people, and he acts similar to them, plus the descriptions for each category fit him to a tee. xD ]

I'm not absolutely sure what I am, because it seems to change all the time when I do the tests and read the descriptions! But I think I'm a cross between INTP, INTJ and ISTJ, sometimes I'm more one than the other, but generally I'm always I and always T, but I'm a bit erratic when it comes to N/S and P/J. XD But yeah, with every glimpse of Kaname, I understand him better and come to appreciate him more, even if I don't always agree with his methods. ^^;;

Perhaps? They would have had to put Unami to sleep early to stop him from aging too much, but Kaname didn't seem concerned about Unami at all when he realised Unami was missing from the Summer A group. Lol, I don't think anyone really liked Unami that much. :3 I also have a feeling that most of Summer A don't feel strongly against Kaname or anything, I think they mostly feel weary of him, but not hatred or anger like with Unami and Takashi. Probably because Kaname never really drilled/trained them, and was more of a mentor towards them as they grew up (even though he was higher up than the rest).
