Hello everyone, although this is a painful decision to make, it has come to my attention that I am no longer fit to lead this team and continue providing you with English scanlations of 7 Seeds. I started scanlating 3 years ago, not only because I love reading Japanese and 7 Seeds, but also because I wanted everyone to get a chance to read it on a regular basis. Although I still love translating, the time necessary for editing and QCing (especially with work/studies completely consuming my free time) and the apparent busyness of everyone else in the team has made it clear that we can no longer provide you with quality scanlations of 7 Seeds in a timely manner, though I wish that weren't the case.

The last 3 years have been really wonderful and I've learnt so much from scanlating, both in terms of translating and editing with Photoshop! I have also thoroughly enjoyed all of the wonderful comments you guys have posted discussing every detailed aspect of 7 Seeds with me, it was definitely the best part of scanlating and what I looked forward to the most. I would also like to thank everyone who has lent a helping hand and supported me throughout this journey! You were beyond excellent. :')

Luckily the other team that has been scanlating 7 Seeds has caught up to us, so you won't be bereft from reading 7 Seeds entirely. I hope you'll forgive me for dragging this out for so long. As farewell, I present to you our final release, the first chapter of a new and exciting story arc, chapter 125. Thank you so much for all your support, I will never forget our time spent together! :)

It's like 2 months over due, but here is the next chapter, finally! Sorry for the long wait, but starting an Honours degree seriously threw a spanner in the works! I didn't realise how little time I would have to do anything in my life (it's full on! Don't do a Honours degree if you aren't used to working all the time haha. Honestly, I was contemplating stopping scanlating altogether, that's how busy I felt. Thank goodness for dragonator , acide and kthescannerr for being the best team members ever!). XD But I'm really enjoying it, so I don't regret it. Maybe it's just a little regretful for the rest of you though, lol. At least this chapter is a tad longer than the usual chapters. ^^;;

We are currently looking for a QCer though! I really only have time to translate as of now, and that's pretty much why this chapter was sitting on the back burner for so long. I have great editors who can do the QCing for the cleaning, but I seriously need someone to help me out with the typesetting QCing! To be a typesetter QCer you would need to have had plenty of experience typesetting before, and be fairly good at it. I will of course teach you our team's particular style, but you will have to get used to getting it as close to our usual releases as possible. xD Possibly a big ask, but the plus side is it'll only take a day or so for each release. ^^ So yes! If you're an experienced typesetter and would love to see faster 7 Seeds releases, please please please help us (because the next story arc is amazing and intense and I really wish I had more time to get those chapters out!!)! :) E-mail me at scanlators_7_seeds[at]live.co.uk ^^

And so chapter 121 is finally done! Sorry about the sloooow release, but it has been tough recently with no available cleaners and just a handful of dedicated team members who are all ridiculously busy right now. ^^;; Fortunately there are lovely people in this world and so we finally have new cleaner recruits in-training! It'll be a little while before they're up to speed though, so don't expect speedy releases any time soon. XD Hope you can bear with us... ^^;;

I would also like to note that I'll be starting my Honours year at the end of February, and I'll be super busy then (more so than I ever have been before)! As such I'll probably only have time to keep up with the translating and QCing, and won't have any time to edit like I have been recently. Ah such dire news! On the bright side of things, Tamura-sensei's Shogakugan 90th anniversary Masterpieces manga anthology, Seimei no Netsuryo, was released at the beginning of the month and my copy has finally arrived! It's super high quality and absolutely stunning as a collector's item for any die-hard Tamura Yumi fan. You can check the pictures out over at our Twitter account.

Happy New Year, my fellow 7 Seeds loving friends! <3 I hope 2012 treated you well, and (if not then I hope) that 2013 will be several times better! Haha, were you expecting treats today?? Well you got 'em thanks to your wonderful editors, azou8506 and dragonator , for being awesomely cool and stuff (and you know, me for being the best(?) slavedriver ever). xD

That said, we are actually in desperate need of more cleaners! I seem to say this often, but it's very hard to find cleaners who aren't busy all the time! ^^;; Recently, due to several felicitous or untoward developments, I have been forced to pick up the slack in regards to cleaning duties, however it must be said that I cannot possibly translate, clean, typeset AND QC two series without one or both projects being severely neglected. :O As such, I think we would all be much better off with more help! So please, if you have any interest at all and would like to help out as a cleaner than please flick me a message to scanlators_7_seeds[at]live[dot]co[dot]uk ^_^

Finally, I've managed to get round to finishing this chapter, sorry it took so long. ^^;; But I hope the lovely coloured pages in the beginning will appease you. :)

But first I would like to pimp a poll that one of the avid 7 Seeds' fans has made. All right, another swift release in between cramming for exams at the end of this week! The only thing I want to draw your attention to is the TV Tropes page for 7 Seeds, which has served to fuel my penchant for procrastination greatly. XD Check out the character pages too! You guys should totally add in your own tropes for the characters, since they're vastly incomplete as of now. :3

Ah another thing, because I'll be busy the next couple of weeks, 117 will be delayed! So don't be alarmed when the usual biweekly thing doesn't happen. XD I don't know when it'll be done, but we'll get there. Well we kept up consistent releases all this year so I reckon we're allowed a few weeks off, no? ;)

Anyway, here's chapter 116, the last of volume 22! We've now caught up to the Japanese volume release until November at least. Chapter 117 and onwards are likely to be from the magazine, but depending on kthescannerr , we might get a few from volume 23 too! After that it's all mag scans. xD

Ah, the dreamwidth site is down so you might not see this post for a while! XD This is totally out of my hands, but sorry about that... ^^;;

Anywho, not long after I released last week's chapter, my October issues for the Flowers and Cocohana mags came, along with some lovely news! If you follow our Twitter, you'll know this news already, but it seems like Shogakukan is celebrating their 90th anniversary soon, and Tamura-sensei is taking part by releasing a new special 'Flower Comics Masterpieces' anthology called Seimei no Netsuryo (The Heat of Life)! Apparently the theme will be things that Tamura-sensei does best, making emotionally destroying stories full of the passion and pains of life, with characters who must struggle against despair and great adversity, and so on. Supposedly a gallery full of her magazine colour inserts will be included as well (I'm guessing of all her work up to date?). It'll also come with a special story and artbook, called Pulse - The Battles of BASARA/7SEEDS, that'll include an interview of Tamura-sensei talking about the two series, as well as being packed with coloured artwork and extra stuff! :D Ouu I'm so excited!! I believe it will be coming out sometime January 2013. ^_^ Also, Shinohara Chie (Red River) and Watanabe Taeko (Kaze Hikaru) will be doing their own Flower Comics Masterpieces thing, for those of you who are also fans of them! :D

Aside from that, I also posted some preview pics of Tamura's new short story (meaning each chapter is only about 8 pages long) series, Iromen, which is a splice of life josei comedy. It's really cute (and packed full of ikemen like Akagi, our resident Shuri/Arashi/Ango look-a-like), and I'm enjoying it so far! ^_^ I'll be happy to scanlate it, but I'll probably wait until the volumes are released because it's a bit expensive to buy a whole magazine each month just for 8 pages! xD

Whee lots of great news this week, huh? :DD Anyway, after all that excitement, it's time for chapter 114!! (BTW azou8506 has come back! Yay!!! :D)

It's release day today! And I have two releases for you; the usual 7 Seeds chapter and an Suki desu Suzuki-kun!! one! ^_^ But before that, the next issues of both the Flowers and Cocohana magazines come out tomorrow. This issue of Flowers is going to have 7 Seeds on the cover (yay!) and the chapter will be extra long (lets hope for some colour spreads! <3). And of course, Tamura-sensei's new series Iromen will be in the Cocohana issue. :) I'll post up pictures here tomorrow (providing they're not spoilery), and I'll also post them on our Twitter account.

EDIT: It's here!! Flowers October issue is out and look at that gorgeous cover!! Isn't it just the most beautiful thing ever?? My OTP got to be a colour spread!! Aramaki and Ayu and Kuroda! Gosh, such a great cover! <3333

I don't really have much news besides that! Oh but of course we're still looking for more cleaners for BOTH 7 Seeds and SDSK! Please, if you have any interest in helping us at all and alleviating our work burden, we would totally appreciate it! ^_^ I would love to have faster releases for SDSK and I would also like to keep the releases for 7 Seeds consistent, but I'm coming up to the end of my last year in uni and it's pretty full on. It looks like it's another gender-bender! And the main character is a Shinobu-esque guy (ore-sama type, even looks like him, lol) who's crossdressing as a girl for some reason? The tagline is: "My legend has begun!! ...Well actually, I'm dressed as a girl. It's a secret though!"

I can't wait! I believe there's a prologue with this week's issue of Sho Comi so I'm definitely getting that and having a look! :D I'll post pictures on our Twitter account for those who are interested. ^_^ All right, time for chapter 24 of SDSK!
